When your press person is pulling their
hair out
because the 2 color
job doesn’t fit,
it’s time for a T-51 Targeting
Service.
(Itek & Ryobi 2800,3200,
& AB Dick 360,375,385,9800's & 9900's)
The T-51 has a procedure to go through called Targeting.
This
is when you print 2 plates with common targets in all 4 corners.
You are able to get the 4 targets to line up perfectly through
adjustments and pressures.
A TEST TO SEE IF YOU NEED TARGETING
Put 2 plates on the press that have cut marks in all 4
corners. Run some
samples and position the non op side and don’t even look at the operator side.
That means raise and lower and twist the non op side into position. Once the
non op side is in position, then look at the operator side to see if the marks
fit.
